O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him,

Christ the Lord!

At a fleeting glance, time seems an odd thing. There is much planning ahead of it; sighing in frustration because we are always running out of it; wondering again and again how we missed it; occasionally wasting what we have of it; tending to think it is ours. Upon paused reflection, I think that we are, in truth, the odd things. May 2026 find us resolved to view time as the borrowed gift that it is, to treasure it and fully live out our unknown allotted amount. Fulfilling God’s plan as He reveals it to us moment by moment, always in the here and now.

“Trust the past to God’s mercy, the present to God’s love and the future to God’s providence.”

~St. Augustine of Hippo
