Feast your eyes on this, dear reader, and try not to drool….

I know, I know… it looks like Saturday morning was served up in absolute deliciousness. It was! I suppose you’re also imagining it came with a side of romantic coziness and deep conversation enveloped by stillness and soft tree lights. Well, imagine again.

Hidden just outside the frame of yumminess was the rest of reality. Magnatile towers were being built. 3 were in a “Baaaaaa”-ing competition to reveal who would make the best sheep. Scattered toys carpeted the room. The resemblance of a shaken-up art store donned the table. The tree proved itself mischievous and tipped over sometime last night, leaving it still in need of tlc to remedy its wonkiness. And if I recall correctly the only words spoken to each other were “Oh! Let me take a picture of our stuff.”

Amidst the noise and chaos, you can always be thankful for good coffee, homemade caramel rolls and togetherness… making everything else ok.
